The Colorful Modulo Wall Shelf by Marcello ZilianiInspiration for the Modulo wall shelf was created by designer, Marcello Ziliani. The first thing that catches my eye is the colorful inserts that separate the frosted glass. The pumpkin color pictured here creates a stunning visual on the wall. In the installation picture with three shelves, you can get a sense for the impact of color in decorating the wall. Modulo also comes in three other colors that are not as quite as bold: white, black, and teak. The free standing nature of a shelf can help add a bit of something to a wall while maintaining that minimalist feel of not have too much furniture in that area of the home. From my perspective the Avado line has just propelled kitchen sink designs way into the future. I love the trays, drying racks, and storage areas in this design. My preference is to have these handy gadgets built-in as opposed to buying separate. Further, Elkay has even seen fit to provide holes for draining for most of these areas. The good news for all consumers is how these advancements should find their way into competitors' products which will create better sinks for all of us. The backrests can also be placed in a tête à tête position.Decoration for MotivationToday I’ve found on this website an interesting way to decorate your working place, and increase your motivation. As you can see from this picture these guys used their Done To Do lists to increase their level of motivation. When you look at a wall like this with a lot of things done you can feel a great feeling of accomplishmen. Why throw away the relics of your achievements when you can create an inspiring monument to getting stuff done? A “Done! Wall” reminds you that you have moved forward in your journey. What do you think about this interesting decoration method ?Beautiful Staircase of The Plus HouseThe Plus House is a pre-fab two-storey house with the generic proportions of a traditional Swedish bard house, designed by Swedish architects Claesson Koivisto Rune. Now the most interesting part of the house I think that is this beautiful and simple staircase. Now here are a few words about this project from the Swedish architects website : “Instead of windows positioned like regular “holes” along the walls, entire sides are glazed. On the entrance floor both long walls are glazed. On the upper floor the gable ends are glazed. Seen in plan, these two lines of vision straight through the building are perpendicular like a plus sign.” - Via - David ReportSitscape SofaThe „Sitscape“ is a seating zone with a length of six meters. The form transforms the usual use of a couch. The design is based on specific seating positions and smooth transformations between them. Based on the preferred relaxing positions of the client we generated six basic positions and formed a perfect fit for them in the “Sitscape”. Consequently, the “Sitscape” provides familiar possibilities for relaxing. The transitional areas between these positions are undetermined in their use. The “Sitscape” is a „customized mass product” that can fulfil different demands and forms with the same structural principle. The main structural elements are the sections, which are digitally cut out of laminated wood. The connecting structure is a steel and aluminium construction, which is minimally visible. The prototype will be finalized with white leather upholstery, laminated wood with white finish for the sections and polished aluminium connections. - Via - Hackenbroich & Designboom
