It's hard to find a bargain today, but I found some luck. Here I present 10 great retro modern wall clocks each under $300. These clocks are the creation of a metal artist in the U.S. Steve Cambronne is a full time artist that has been traveling and selling art for the last twenty years. Inspired by mid century modern craftsmen and the Beverly Hills: Trend / Leather Sofa Setss towards retro design, Steve began working with metal in the forms of clocks and sculpture several years ago. Over trials and much time, Steve has created wonderful clocks that are full of bright colors reminiscent of past eras in history. Eva Solo Glass Bird Feeders
Among the many clever designs of Eva Solo is the glass bird feeders pictured here. The round shape is different from most bird feeders on the market today which often depict rectangular or "house" shapes. I find that the round shape creates a delicate look while the glass provides a "birds eye view" into the private nature of these animals. Price: $60. Available: here.
EDITT Tower - Singapore Goes Eco-Friendly
What, you though only Dubai and China have the most stunning buildings in the world? Guess again, because EDITT Tower (“Ecological Design In The Tropics”) will be built in Singapore with the financial support of their National University and should be the most eco- friendly in the country. The most interesting thing is that this 26-storey building will use photovotaic panels and will be wrapped in organic local vegetation that will act as a living wall insulator. More to it, the skyscraper was designed to collect rain-water, both for plant irrigation and for its “needs”. Modern New Haven Side Table from Vallo Riberto
There is an interesting story behind the "New Haven" side table from designer Vallo Riberto. Riberto designed this art deco side table while attending the Yale Graduate School of Art and Architecture in 1968 but the design stayed dormant for almost 30 years. Finally in 1995 the New Haven side table was produced and is made today in two versions which include a dyed laminated over a plywood core or ¾ inch thick Baltic Birch. The New Haven is available in natural finishes or a variety of colors with exposed Beverly Hills: Edge / Leather Sofa Setss and finished with three layers of hand rubbed lacquer and hand wrought iron steel pin legs. Designer Home Radiators from "My Italian Design" Studio
Furniture Fashion received this product submission from "My Italian Design" studio that features exciting home radiators. Named "Calorisfero" this radiator is a combination of wood and steel where the wood has been woven around the steel to create an ornate display on any wall of the house.
