Workplace Inspiration
In these days a lot of people work from home, especially bloggers. For those who work from home today I’ve decided to start a new series of pictures entitled Workplace Inspiration. I’ve got this idea from Unclutterer a blog or home and office organization, and these pictures are from their flickr collection. One thing I noticed is that an Apple computer can change the whole look, these computers have a beautiful design, and they can really improve a desk look.
Lily Lace Chair
The Lily Lace chair is a unique sculptural piece exploring the versatility of lace while highlighting the commonalities between its soft alluring texture and the delicate yet sensual form of the calla lily. The lily form, symbolizing purity and virginity is complimented by the underlying dualities of purity and experience, naivety and seduction, inherent to the lace. In this new version of the chair, the lace is draped over a thin metal framework thus creating the outer shell for a comfortable inner upholstered seat sharing an identical language. Surfing on Etsy today I’ve found a quite interesting hand made item. As you can see from the pictures here you have an idea of what to do with a broken hard drive. You can convert it into a working desk clock. This clock has been manufactured using the finest quartz clock motor. The clock stands aproximatily 5 3/4 inches high by 4 inches wide. What’s Up Sofa by Patrick Norguet
Patrick Norguet has an interesting idea when he designed this fabric upholstered sofa with tubular base. From my perspective this looks like a piece of bathtub. The chaise longue WHAT’S UP is a strong, minimalistic, almost graphic design. By combining both the left and right chaise longue, you can make a 3,40 metre sofa! Its wide arm- and back support make it comfortable for resting your arm.
