Just imagine for a moment laying on this refreshing air-conditioned bed in a hot day. It’s a precious experience. Using extremely quiet dual-fans at the foot of the bed, cool air is pulled in from behind your head and circulated through the soft membrane which also acts as an air-cushion to support you. Osian Batyka-Williams' Reclaimed Metal Tube Chairs
I am fond of works using reclaimed materials in their construction. It adds history and character to the design while at the same time limits waste material. Such is the case from sculptor, Osian Batyka-Williams. In a studio about 5 miles from the London bridge, Osian creates his "Tube chairs" from reclaimed metal. D-mension Shelf - Modern Shelfing System
The Italian studio Icon Design Studio has just presented D-mension, its new system of modular racks created by Nicola Zanetti. This new shelving system is made out of steel and aluminium. The units, shaped like lower-case d’s, can be arranged in a staggered, abstract, or symmetrical formation based on the user’s personal taste. Lipla is a low queen sized bed designed by Jean-Marie Massaud. This bed is composed of a number of perfectly integrated elements. The mattress rests on a wooden frame.
