Aryton Platform Bed from Ora-ito is a Winner
The great furniture designs keep coming from Italy with help from French designer Ito Morabito who has teamed up with Frighetto to bring us the Aryton modern platform bed. It has been described as "streamlined, sexy, and slightly space age" but of coarse art and fine furniture are subjective. Recently I have seen a lot more Platform Beds adopt the wider exposed rail design but the way these transition into the multi-level floating night stands is what make this platform bed so special. Ora-ito is an up and coming label from the young French designer who has given a "less is more" approach to an impressively mature collection of products including lamps from Artemide and the Evolution Chair from Zonotta. The Aryton bed is indicative of the brilliant collection by Frighetto who is no stranger to cutting Beverly Hills: Edge / Leather Sofa Sets Italian furniture.

Letters and Words Furniture
A few days ago I’ve presented to you a chair inspired by typography ( Dharma Lounge ). Today I’ve found another typography inspired pieces of furniture made by Set26 ( a Swiss website ). The designs are original and look good, personally I love the second picture from this post, the BAR one. In conclusion if you want a piece of furniture just to look good, or to be original and have a piece of furniture that actually says something this is a good chooice, but when you’ll want to store a few things you might have some troubles, because the space is quite akward. - Via - Design Milk

METAL DECOR FANS will definitely appreciate the stainless steel construction of Aiden Seat; the ribs are regularly spaced, the angles perfectly perpendicular, and the frame inherently able to withstand heavy loads. Outdoor and indoor friendly, the seats can also serve as end and coffee tables. The latter function is likely the more appropriate, as sitting on an Aiden for an extended period of time will likely give one a case of grill butt.

No-Constraints Carpet from Panasonic
Panasonic unveiled the “No-Constraints Carpet”, an innovative hot carpet shaped like a furry snake in order to mimic the feel of a hot pet. The carpet’s luxurious coat of faux fur houses a set of smart heating elements that deliver warmth. These heating elements will only be activated when you cuddle it, ensuring no energy is wasted when it is not needed. The carpet is available in two sizes1.5 meters = 5 feet or 7 meters = 23 feet the carpet also makes an interesting sofa decoration when not being used as a heating device. The patent is pending, so Panasonic has not yet released all the product details.
Delta Shelter by Tom Kundig
The Delta Shelter, designed by Olson Sundberg Kundig Allen Architects, is a weekend cabin made of steel, that can be completely shuttered when the owner is away.
This 1,000 square-foot weekend cabin, basically a steel box on stilts, can be completely shuttered when the owner is away. Situated near a river in a floodplain, the 20’ x 20’ square footprint rises three stories and is topped by the Living Room/ kitchen. Large, 10’ x 18’ steel shutters can be closed simultaneously using a hand crank.
