When I saw this was I just love it, it’s a common object transformed in a vase, and this object as a vase is really funny. The paper bag vase looks like a real paper bag, and most of the people at a first glance will have some questions for you. If I didn’t knew that this is a vase, I would ask … How do you put water in that paper bag ? You can get the paper bag vase from here for $24,99. - Via - NerdApproved

Vinyl Decorative Wall Decals - Staircase

For those of you who don’t have a staircase, here is a nice idea created by Sofia Antonovich. She created a vinyl decorative wallpaper that looks like a staricase. If you have an apartment I’m sure that might be the only one that would fit in your apartment, and will cost you just a fraction of the price. - Via - Designers Beverly Hills: Block / Leather Sofa Sets

The U-(you) bathroom furniture looks like a tilted U and is aimed at a cost-conscious target group with an individual taste. In order to keep production costs low, the production process was reduced to two steps. First the CNC surface finish, followed by thermal moulding. Thanks to their smooth surface the pieces of furniture are easy to assemble and clean. To further enhance the ease of cleaning, 6-mm spacers were developed for wall mounting. In conclusion the U-(you) bathroom furniture has a simple and minimalistic design that looks very good. The U-(you) bathroom furniture is manufactured by Kolpsan

Hurdle Desk Lighting

Hurdle Lighting was designed by Koreans Lee Suk Woo and Byeon Dong Jin, and received a Special Mention in the 2007 Lightouch Design Competition in Singapore. The light structure is designed to stand either horizontally (like its namesake) or vertically, more like a desk lamp. A sensor detects how it’s been positioned and operates the light accordingly. I would like to have a desk lamp like this to read focused and undisturbed in the middle of the night, away from the heat durring the day. - Via - Scifi

Stylish DIY Magazine Coffee Table

Magazines are just beautiful to look in addition to great reads! But don’t you hate it when you’ve got to get rid of them eventually?  Think of the waste. Well, designer Vered Zaykovsky put some thought into it and came up with a fantastic upcycling idea using just 6 copies of Domus magazine. There is no cutting or gluing involved, just some clever weaving. The resulting structure is apparently stable and strong enough to support a glass top. It makes a stylish coffee table. It looks like the designer used six identical copies of the magazine but for a fun funky look, different editions will look cool too! - Via

Nature v2.01 Chair by Draw Me a Sheep

Inspired from world’s debates on GMO products and eco-crisis on earth, ‘Nature v2.01’ explores today’s struggling human relationship with nature and our desire for authenticity. The pieces, which feature ash bark formed over timber and resin, are based on the notion that if trees had square trunks, less wood would be wasted. I know that these pieces look like they were grown in somebody’s backyard rather than manufactured in a design studio, but the final result look quite interesting. The designs were presented at 100% Design London and they are created by Belgium-based designers from Draw Me a Sheep. - Via
